What: FDOT’s interactive statewide map of traffic count stations — AADT by year, K/D/T factors, hourly/classification/speed counts, downloadable historical data per station. Why: the free official source for the near-daily lookups: existing volumes for TIAs, design-hour factors for turn-lane and LOS work, multi-year AADT for growth rates. When: existing-conditions volumes, background growth trends, K/D/T retrieval, checking whether a segment has a continuous (telemetered) vs portable station.
No login. Coverage is strongest on the State Highway System; local roads mostly aren’t here — go to the county/MPO programs for those. The app URL is an FDOT app-server address and has moved before #status/verify — if it 404s, re-enter via the FDOT Traffic Data page.
Tip
Full pull procedure lives in How to Pull AADT and K-D-T Factors from Florida Traffic Online. For bulk/batch data (shapefiles, the whole historical database) skip the map and use FDOT Traffic Data (TDA).
Warning
The station is not your segment. Check where the station actually sits (which side of the major driveway/intersection) before adopting its AADT for your study link.
